Andrei Makarevich (born December 11, 1953, Moscow) is a Russian bard, musician, composer, poet, writer, graphics artist and producer. He is a cofounder and a leader of cult rock group Mashina Vremeni. Makarevich graduated from Moscow Institute of Architecture as a graphics artist. Since 1969, when he cofounded the rock group Mashina Vremeni, he authored most of its music and lyrics. Makarevich also released 8 solo albums, participated in regular TV shows and assisted other groups and artists.
